Both high spirited, ALL free and fabulous family-fun evenings will feature 39 talented kids (third grade through high school) from 20 area schools who act, sing and dance to benefit JDRF (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). It’s ALL free. Donations are welcome and encouraged. The good time is enhanced by a bake sale, blind bid auction, raffle and flower sale.
This year’s Revue – The Bright Side of Life – will feature songs from such classic Broadway musicals as Hairspray, King and I, Memphis, Little Shop of Horrors, Sound of Music and Children of Eden.
ACTT has raised and donated $150,000 to JDRF – the global leader in funding the research to treat, cure and prevent T1D (type 1 diabetes). Each show is produced, directed and choreographed by talented young people who love to perform while working together to improve the life of every person affected by diabetes until a cure is found.
