Time to Vote for Your Favorite MVP of the Week

Field loaded with lots of younger talent.

 

This is week 5, and time to get back to voting for another MVP of the week. Our winner is selected from either Ladue-Horton Watkins, St. Joseph's Academy, MICDS, Villa Duchesne or John Burroughs.

Candidates for Week 5

Grace Steigemeyer, junior swimmer, St. Joe. She recorded four first place finishes enroute to the Angels swamping Villa in a duel meet, 126-49. She was on the state championship 200 meter free style relay, and has qualified in two individual events and a couple of relays at state this year.

Maddie Wessell, freshman swimmer, John Burroughs. Maddie took four first place finishes in helping the Bombers to beat Principia 133-40 this week. She is already qualified in six events for the state meet in February.

Cornell Johnson, junior guard, Ladue. Classy point guard is scoring 14.3 points per game going into the Friday home game with McCluer South-Berkeley. He has 39 steals and the Rams re 14-3 and on a 7 game win streak.

Brandon Klar, MICDS hockey. This forward has 10 goals, 29 assists for 42 points. The Rams are 7-1 this season.

Vote for your favorite, and the winner will be recognized this coming weekend. All votes will be counted at 5 p.m. Wednesday (January 23).
