Every year, the state swim and diving championships are held at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters. Ladue and Frontenac area schools came away with numerous memories and medals. All of the area stars are juniors, setting the stage for next season.
The meet is sponsored each year by the Missouri State High School Activities Association in Columbia.
Sports photographer Joe Nuelle caught the action from the decorated cars in the parking lot to the cheering in the stands and alongside the pool. The event was two days of non stop action. Enjoy a look back at the 36th annual Swimming & Diving championships through the lens of Joe Nuelle.
