The Ladue Gate Debate: Take our Poll
What do you think about the city's ban on private drive gates?
In December, Ladue-Frontenac Patch reported on Ladue's gate debate. An article by contributor Linda Jarrett, included interviews with residents who want Ladue City Council to reconsider its ban on gates at driveways of local homes. Residents resent gawkers and others who consider an open driveway an open invitation to tour the often grand properties and estates. For its part, the city wants Ladue to appear open and friendly, rather than prohibitive.
The Jan. 16 edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (and its Web site stltoday.com) featured an article on the same issue.
