St. Louis Workers Give Aid After Joplin Tornado
Local media and organizations are reporting on workers headed to provide assistance.
St. Louis workers are helping in a variety of ways in the aftermath of Sunday's Joplin tornado. Among them:
- About a dozen Missouri American Water workers from St. Louis have been sent to help their Joplin colleagues, the St. Joseph News-Press reports.
- Members of the Americorps St. Louis Emergency Response Team planned to help clear roads and perform other assignments, KSDK reports.
- St. Louis Area Foodbank is working to provide water and meals to affected people, the group states on its Twitter feed.
