Someone Broke Into Reed School Over the Weekend

No items of significance were reported stolen in this week's Ladue blotter report.

 

Monday, May 21, 2012

10:37 a.m. A larceny was reported at Reed School at 9060 Ladue Rd. Undetermined items were stolen from the school over the weekend.

10:46 a.m. A male student assaulted a teacher at the Litzsinger School at 10,094 Litzsinger Road in Ladue. No other information was available.

2:27 p.m. A prisoner was transported from the Creve Coeur Police Department, wanted in Ladue for several traffic warrants.

3:33 a.m. Police were alerted to a suspicious person in the backyard of a home on Willow Hill Road. When the home owner spotted the individual, he hopped he fence and took off running. No subject was found or arrested.

7:52 a.m. A car was ransacked on Berkeley Lane and an I-pod was reported stolen.

8:14 a.m. An automobile accident occurred in the parking lot at the Villages of Schneithorst. A pedestrian was struck and injured by the driver of the automobile, and transported to an area hospital.

Thursday, May 24, 2012

7:49 a.m. A two car crash occurred on Ladue Road at Wendover Drive. No injuries were reported.

8:16 a.m. Five cars were involved in a pileup on eastbound I-64 at McKnight Road. One of the drivers involved was transported by Frontenac ambulance to the hospital.

3:30 p.m. A delayed report was made of a suspect in a back yard on Willow Hill Road.

Saturday, May 26, 2012

2:10 a.m. A one car accident with injuries was reported at the intersection of Ladue and Warson roads.

8:27 p.m. A male, age unknown was arrested for driving with stolen license plates and other charges on southbound I-170 at Ladue Road.

6:03 p.m. A two car automobile accident occurred at 9300 Clayton Road. There were no injuries reported.

As updated by Ladue Police Chief Rich Wooten, the crime at Reed School was not a break-in. Rather, it is being investigated as someone who might have had access to the building. We thank the chief for the clarification.
