Sign of the Arrow, St. Louis’ destination for needlepoint and specialty gifts, was established in 1966 by the St. Louis Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi to provide philanthropic support to the community.

The shop is staffed by 80+ community volunteers who give 21,000+ hours annually to help run Sign of the Arrow. All shop proceeds benefit area agencies. Since its inception, Sign of the Arrow has donated more than $3.3 million to 150+ local charities.

Last year, Sign of the Arrow, awarded thousands in grants to a variety of organization at their annual Philanthropy Brunch, some included Aim High, Alive, Annie’s Hope, Assistance League of St. Louis, Care and Counseling, Gifted Resource Council, and Kids Rock Cancer.

At this year’s annual philanthropy brunch  donations were made to 18 organizations within the St. Louis area, lookinf forward to enabling these organizations to work at their full potential.
