Readers' Choice 2012: Where is the Best Pulled Pork Sandwich?

Help the Patch team find the best pulled pork in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Slowed cooked, tender and saucy. St. Louis knows barbeque, especially pulled pork sandwiches—a fixture in many bars and restaurants in the area.

Pulled pork, usually a pork shoulder cut, is smoked for hours, then pulled apart and mixed with barbeque sauce. It seems simple, yet many claim to have the best in town.

We need our readers’ help to find out who serves the most delicious pulled pork sandwich in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Just write your place of choice in the comments section of this story — and don't forget to tell us why!

Nominations can be made from today until July 9. Voting will begin thereafter. Make sure to tell all your friends and family to participate.

Bandanas. It's a consistent, very-good, affordable BBQ meal. Other than that, Super Smokers is amazing, it just happens to be in Eureka. I was extremely disappointed by PM BBQ, and Pappy's is over hyped and more trouble than it's worth to begin with.

Bandanas? Right. And Rally's makes a very consistent, affordable burger.

The McRib is consistent and affordable BBQ.

Yes, Walter, that's right. And they also cater to reach the entire region. I don't think they have sweet potato fries yet, but have you tried their sweet jalapeno cornbread?

I must admit I am kind of partial to my own and I do it in a crock pot. takes about 5 to 6 hours top it with some sweet baby rays and onion and it melts in your mouth.
