Monday, Mar. 19.

• Many area schools are on spring break this week.
• Get your art fix with your coffee in Clayton on Monday at Northwest Coffee Roasting Company. The coffee company is hosting Arlene Ligori’s art exhibit during March and April. • The Regional Arts Commission in University City is offering a Kickstarter School for creative-minded people who want to get their ideas off the ground. The class is free of charge. Stephanie Pereira, Kickstarter’s Director of Art Programs, will start the night with a presentation on how to bring your dreams to life. • George Thorogood and the Destroyers will play at the Pageant in University City on Wednesday. General admission is $30 and there’s a $2 minor surcharge at the door. • In Clayton, the St. Louis Artists’ Guild is holding a Science Fiction Illustration class on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Students will learn techniques used in science fiction illustration. • If you’re in more of a dramatic mood on Friday, you might like to check out the student theater company’s production of Missing at COCA in University City. Billed as a “contemporary urban re-telling of Hansel and Gretel,” the show starts at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $6 to $8. The show will also run at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday.
