Now in Montana...Life is pretty good for the American Lung Association riders. Though one rider had to drop out because of a bike crash, and pending hand surgery, the rest of the team soldiers on.

Larissa Powers, the MICDS science teacher has overcome her knee injury and is right in the middle of the pack. Yesterday afternoon, the riders said goodbye to Idaho and hello to Thompson Falls, Montana.

Tuesday will be a full respite and a celebration of sorts. The Montana American Lung Association will welcome the riders at the Big Dipper ice cream store in downtown Missoula. Otherwise, the riders take the day off to rest up, resort the gear then head onto Avon, Montana a short 61 miles from Missoula.

Powers has rounded up a raft of pictures, showing everything from dining to the wretched showers along the route.

Stay with Larissa through her continuous blogging from the road.
