Office Max Store in Ladue Crossing Closing For Good Saturday Night

Office Max keeps stores open nearby in Olivette and Brentwood.

The Office Max store in the Ladue Crossing Shopping Center will close its doors at 9 p.m. Saturday, and that is the last day they will be serving the public. The national chain will shutter its doors for good at this particular location, Saturday night.

The good news is that all 12 employees at this location will be moving to other nearby Office Max locations in Olivette or Brentwood.

The Office Max location at 8857 Ladue Road has been open the past five years.

Gina O’Brien, store manager and head of operations will be relocating to the Town and Country store, closer to her home.

In the meantime, all items in the store are reduced 50 percent in price excluding ink, toner, technology items, furniture and printing services.

For the most part, the shelves have been picked clean. There is virtually no furniture left on display and the inventory has been reduced greatly.

Prior to Office Max filling this location on the east-side of the center, Schnuck’s used the space as a area-wide training facility. Prior to that, a tailor shop was located there.

“We’re still getting calls for alteration services,” said O’Brien.
