Voting is now underway for the MVP "Athlete of the Week" from Ladue, Frontenac and Olivette. The voting concludes on Wednesday, promptly at 6 o'clock. Vote for one of your favorites, and make sure your friends do too.

Here's the ballot for this week:

• Grant Sachs, Ladue wrestler. Sachs, a senior entered the state tournament with a lofty 30-3 record. He has earned a scholarship to wrestle for Mankato State University,Minnesota.

• Barrett Carlson, John Burroughs swimming. This freshman swim star is one of the fastest sprinters in Missouri and a main reason why Burroughs is having a good season.

• Alex Roth, Villa Duchesne basketball. A senior on a team that has struggled to a 7-14 record. She has piled up 123 rebounds, an average of 6.2 per game.

• Erin Nelson, St. Joseph's Academy basketball. The senior who stands out on a 16-5 team.Nelson averages 16.5 points per game and averages 8.2 rebounds at the same time.
