Moms Talk: What Should Valentine's Day Mean to Kids?
Is this holiday all about candy hearts or something more?
For children, Valentine's Day is often about cards, candy and parties.
So onto this week's question: Suppose your kids are a variety of ages—4, 6 and 8. What are some things you might do to teach them more about Valentine's Day? Is it more than just a day for exchanging colorful paper and eating junk food?

Valentines day can be used to teach cutting, pasting, writing, inclusion , sorting and friendship. Not to mentions sharing of chocolate.
