Man Faces Marijuana Dealing Charge After Traffic Stop

Ladue Police said they found one pound of marijuana after pulling over the West County driver.

A West County man pulled over in Ladue for speeding was charged July 13 with intent to sell marijuana.

Ladue Police said Alden Keller, 30, was pulled over for driving 85 mph in a 60 mph zone at 2 a.m. July 13 on westbound Interstate 64 near Clayton Road. Keller is from the first block of Tree Hill Court in West County just southeast of the city of Manchester.

Keller had active warrants and was arrested. During a vehicle search, officers said they found five Ziploc bags containing about a pound of marijuana. One bag had several smaller, individual sized bags with smaller amounts of marijuana.

Bond was set at $40,000.

Keller had completed probation in fall 2011 on charges of stealing a firearm and escape from custody in 2006 in Manchester.
