 Music And Movement  

Where/When:  St. Louis County Library, Headquarters, East Room, 1640 S. Lindbergh Friday, February 11, 2011, 1—2 p.m.

Why Go:  Shake off the winter blues with musical activities designed for your preschoolers.  Experience music in a variety of ways with finger plays, movement activities and songs.  Perfect for ages 2 through 6 years

Valentine’s Day Bingo

Where/When:  Whole Foods Market, Town and Country; Café area

Saturday, February 12, 2011; 1 p.m.—3 p.m.

Why Go:  Family members of all ages can try their hand at bingo; a new game starts every 20 minutes.  Prizes for adults include items from the store; kids receive fun Valentine’s Day cards to hand out to their friends.

Bugaloo: Nature’s Shapes and Colors

Why Go:  The temperature is 85 degrees!  And there’s nothing like a burst of color to brighten the grays of winter.  Celebrate the shapes and colors of Mother Nature with fun books, learning games, hands-on discoveries and insects.  For children ages 2 to 4 with their families.

Delta Dental Winter Zoo

 Where/When:  The Living World at the Saint Louis Zoo

Sundays, February 13, 20, and 27, 2011; 11 a.m.—4 p.m.

Why Go:  Have fun while learning about good dental health. Participate in a variety of activities:  Land of Smiles stage show where each child will receive a free goodie bag; party with Radio Disney; stroll with the penguins. Activities are geared toward kids 2-10. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No reservations are needed.

Celebrate Rainforests and 50 years of the Climatron®

Where/When: Brookings Interpretive Center, Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd.
