This is it for MVP "Athlete of the Week" for the winter sports season. The race for the best will resume for spring sports in early April.
Voting is started and continues until 5 p.m. Wednesday. Vote for your favorite, and get your friends, relatives and others to do the same too.
These are our final four candidates for the season.
Cornell Johnson, junior, Ladue basketball. CJ is one of the area's premier guards, leading the Rams to a 21-6 finish.They lost the district title game to Chaminade. CJ averaged 14.2 points and 8.41 assists per game.
Andrew Maddock, junior, Ladue basketball. This rugged forward had a big hand in beating CBC and other top teams. He averaged a shade under 11 points a game and almost 9 rebounds per game.
Emily Kyman, junior, MICDS basketball. A three-year starter, she is inching towards the 1,000 point club. MICDS went 24-3 this season, losing out to powerful Incarnate Word Academy.
Emmie Haring, senior, St. Joe basketball. The cog in the while of the 22-5 offense, the Angels are in the state semifinals this weekend against a familiar foe, Cor Jesu Academy. Haring runs the point and does all the little things that add up to victories.
Again, get your vote in by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
