An elderly female driver in a late model maroon Lexus pulled out of the Villages at Schneithorst and turned into the wrong direction in one lane traffic during rush hour today (May 22). The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m.
"We will probably have to advise the family that she should not longer be driving," said Police Chief Tom Becker of Frontenac. "She was not hit. She just slowly drove up onto that median," said the chief.
The City of Frontenac fire and police were the only municipality called to the scene.
