UPDATE: Case Against Ladue Police Officer Dropped
Charges of domestic assault against Steven Manasco were dropped due to an “uncooperative victim.”
*Updated Nov. 3 with information about Manasco's position on the Ladue Police Department.
Ladue Police officer Steven Manasco, who on early August was charged with third-degree domestic assault, has been released of any charges against him, KSDK reports.
Manasco, 35, a resident of Affton, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend by pushing and then punching her in the face, according to the initial St. Louis County Police report.
KSDK reports that prosecutors say his girlfriend would not cooperate in the case.
The Ladue Police Department confirmed Manasco resigned from his position with the department a month ago.
